David Estringel, MFA
Founder & Editor-in-Chief
David Estringel is a Xicanx writer/poet and Pushcart/Best of Net nominee with a BA in English Studies and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Texas. His works have appeared in various literary publications, such as The Opiate, Azahares, Cephalorpress, Sledgehammer Lit, Ethel, Literary Heist, Cowboy Jamboree, San Antonio Review, Punk Noir Magazine, Poetry NI, Dreich, Somos en escrito, Fahmidan Journal, The Milk House, Beir Bua Journal, Roi Faineant Press, and Drunk Monkeys. His first collection of poetry and short fiction Indelible Fingerprints (Alien Buddha Press) was published in April 2019, followed Blood Honey (Anxiety Press) and Cold Comfort House (Anxiety Press) in 2022, as well as little punctures (Really Serious Literature), and Blind Turns in the Kitchen Sink (Anxiety Press) in 2023. David has also written seven poetry chapbooks, Punctures, PeripherieS, Eating Pears on the Rooftop, Golden Calves, Sour Grapes, Blue, and his seventh Brujeria is coming soon from Anxiety Press and eighth Discoloration from Back Room Poetry in the UK. David is also contributes editorially to The Temz Review and Identity Theory.
David is the Editor-in-Chief of The Argyle Literary Magazine and Chief Executive Officer of Blood+Honey Press (launching soon in 2024).
